Cookie Policy

This page explains the small files and browser storage that nefyx.com uses. It is part of the Privacy Policy.

In plain words

  • NefyX uses only strictly necessary cookies: they keep you signed in and keep forms safe.
  • There are no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics scripts.
  • Your theme choice and the fact that you dismissed the cookie notice are kept in your browser's local storage.
  • Blocking cookies is possible in your browser, but you will not be able to sign in.

This summary helps you read the document. The full text below is what applies.

01What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise your browser on the next request. Browsers also offer local storage, which works in a similar way for settings that never need to be sent to the server. We treat both the same way in this policy.

02What NefyX stores

NameTypePurposeHow long
Session cookie (set by our sign-in system, names begin with "better-auth")Cookie, strictly necessaryKeeps you signed in and lets the server check who you are on each request. It is HTTP-only and, on the live site, marked Secure.Until you sign out or the session expires
Sign-in helper cookies (same prefix)Cookie, strictly necessaryCarry short-lived state during sign-in, for example while you complete Google sign-in.Minutes, or the end of the sign-in
nefyx-themeLocal storage, preferenceRemembers whether you chose light, dark or device theme.Until you clear browser data
nefyx-cookie-notice-ackLocal storage, preferenceRemembers that you dismissed the cookie notice so it is not shown again.Until you clear browser data

When you pay, you are taken to the payment gateway's own page. The gateway and your bank may set their own cookies there under their own policies. We do not control them.

03What we do not use

  • No advertising, remarketing or tracking cookies, and no social-media tracking pixels.
  • No third-party analytics scripts. The visit counts a creator sees come from our own server and use no cookie and no stored identifier; see the Privacy Policy.

Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, there is no category of cookie for you to switch off. If we ever add anything beyond these, we will ask for your permission first and update this page before it goes live.

04Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in or complete a purchase while signed in, although guest checkout still works. Clearing local storage resets your theme choice and shows the cookie notice again.
